Terms and Conditions
1. Scope of the General Terms and Conditions
The General Terms and Conditions in the version valid at the time of the online donation, individual membership, course registration or order apply to all business relationships entered into between the customer and the Swiss Refugee Council (SRC) via the website www.fluechtlingshilfe.ch.
2. Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions
By making his/her binding online payment for donations, individual membership, course fees or order, the customer unreservedly accepts these General Terms and Conditions.
3. Prices
The prices shown on the website are indicated in Swiss francs. Payment of all orders and course fees as well as donations made online or by payment slip will only be accepted in Swiss francs.
4. Conditions for participating in SRC training courses
Registration for training courses implies acceptance of the following conditions for participation:
- The number of participants per training course is limited in order to ensure optimal quality. Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received.
- Registration using the online form is binding.
- The invoice will be sent by e-mail after the course.
- Course documents and course confirmations are included in the participation fees.
- By registering, the participant consents to the use of his/her personal data provided in the online form for the purpose of organizing the course and compiling a list of participants. The list of participants will be made available to all speakers and participants. If individual items of data are not to be included in the list of participants, this must be noted in the online form.
5. Terms of delivery and payment methods for orders
- The delivery area is limited to Switzerland. On special request, we also deliver outside of Switzerland, but only in Europe. Shipping generally takes place within 5 to 10 working days by post. The shipping and packaging costs depend on the weight and volume of the products ordered. They shall be paid by the customer.
- If the items ordered are not in stock, the Swiss Refugee Council (SRC) will inform the customer by e-mail or telephone.
- The customer will receive a confirmation e-mail once the order been completed. Payment is made by invoice.
- Invoicing takes place when the ordered goods are delivered. The invoiced amount must be paid within 30 days of the invoice date to the postal cheque account indicated by the Swiss Refugee Council (SRC).
- If payment is not made on time, the Swiss Refugee Council (SRC) shall be entitled to charge the customer for the cost of sending reminders. In addition, the SRC reserves the right to suspend subsequent orders until the outstanding invoices have been paid in full. If payment has not been made after the third reminder, the Swiss Refugee Council (SRC) reserves the right to take legal action.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the goods immediately upon delivery and to report any defects in, or divergences from, their order. Complaints must be reported to the Swiss Refugee Council (SRC) within 14 days of delivery.
6. Data security / Privacy
The Swiss Refugee Council (SRC) attaches great importance to secure transmission of data and optimal protection of customers’ privacy. Personal data will be treated confidentially and will not be passed on to third parties.

7. Place of jurisdiction and applicable law
The place of jurisdiction is Bern. Swiss law shall apply exclusively.
